Permanent Cosmetic Makeup at our Boston area Medspa

Permanent Makeup at Advanced Laser & Skin Center reveals the most natural looking results.  Areas that are most commonly treated are eyebrows, upper and lower eyeliner and lip liner. We use only hypoallergenic ion-oxide based pigments in a variety of shades to guarantee the perfect custom color. The superficial application deposits the pigment no deeper than the layer of skin that rejuvenates itself. Safety and sterile technique is a top priority and all regulations are adhered to. We do offer the hair stroke technique for the eyebrows making for a natural look.[1. Frequently Asked Questions about Permanent Cosmetic Makeup

Does the procedure hurt?

Topical anesthetics are used to minimize discomfort.  Although you can feel the procedure happening, most clients feel very little discomfort.

Can I choose my color and placement?

Absolutely!  Each procedure is customized specifically to each client.  There is a wide spectrum of colors you can choose from.

How long does it take?

Each area takes no longer than an hour from start to finish.

Is it safe?

Safety and Sterilization are top priorities with Advanced Laser & Skin Center.  All tools are sterile and disposable.  All regulations are strictly adhered to.  The superficial application prevents the body’s reaction to and rejection of the pigment.

What is the recovery time?

There may be some slight swelling and redness in the area immediately following the procedure, which will subside in 5-10 days.  The color tends to appear darker and more intense at first but will mature to its final softer color within a week.  Normal activities can be resumed right away.  Home care instructions are discussed in detail at the time of the procedure.

How long does the permanent makeup last?

Permanent cosmetics do not rub or wash off.  Applications are applied only to the upper layer of the skin and last 1-3 years.  As your skin rejuvenates, the pigment will fade over time.  A touch up may be needed every 12-18 months to maintain color.

What is the cost of Permanent Cosmetic Makeup?

The cost starts at $250 for upper or lower eye liner.  Lip liner is $500, there will be an additional charge for full lips-this is customized and discussed during consultation.  Eyebrows are $500. The cost for a Boost is $150 (must be within 18 months of full procedure).  Complimentary consultations are recommended.
