Electrolysis
Electrolysis is approved by the Food and Drug Administration and the American
Medical Association for safety and permanency. Since its discovery in
1875, major advances have been made and the process of electrolysis has
been perfected. During an electrolysis treatment each individual hair
is treated by the insertion of a tiny sterile probe into the hair follicle,
followed by a spit second impulse of energy down to the hair root. The
hair detaches from the follicle and is lifted out by the electrologist.
This procedure is repeated until the desired area is free of hair.
